What is a happy life?
Everyone has 24 hours a day, but the Japanese may only have 21 hours. Why?
Because they need one and a half hours from home to the company.
The city I live in is good, and the capital is so congested that people there may even have 20 hours.
So I often say to myself and my friends, "watch your life carefully."
My life is basically divided into three sections, and the most important one is eight hours of sleep.
It's not hard to make this one third happy, my experience is -- just buy a good mattress.
Small mattresses have a big effect, and the quality of sleep affects people's mood to a great extent, and can even buy a good life.
And a third to spend time with family and friends.
You can't choose your parents. You have no afterlife, but friends can choose.
Good teachers, good friends, good friends, we like interesting friends.
This precious 1/3 gives me the joy of life, sharing it with my loved ones, friends and family, so it's up to you to decide the 8 hours.
I can tell you that most people don't choose a job that they really like.
But for me, finding a job with happiness should be a success.
What is work?
Work for me, as long as I like, I feel a sense of achievement.
I'm not going to go out of my way to calculate the final result, but I'm really focused on the enjoyment, why?
Because it's the same for me and you and even li ka-shing, and we all end up saying goodbye, right?
Before I did the design, I worked in a variety of miscellaneous jobs: choreography, costume design, founding publications, illustration, host and so on.
I don't make design. I'm a hybrid.
At that time, it was very young. As long as I thought of it, I would do it, without so much complicated thinking and calculation.
I remember when I was 21 years old, the director asked me to do the dance and planning for a gold program. He said if you can't go, I will give you a night to think about it.
A week later, I played an important role in that column.
I just feel that if I don't go, I might regret my life.
So do anything, we have to be courageous, don't count too much, don't wait until you miss the choice to regret.
Music, movies, design, text related stuff, I love it, so all I've done is work on these things.
For me, work is a journey full of dreams. My choice is only related to my character and pursuit.
Decided to do design, it's not because it's "money", just because of the character of the same with me, I didn't have a chance to go with it for ten years, twenty years, thirty years, if a job you are bored, how can you stick to these?
How do you spend your career?
Design always give a person a kind of a lot of appeal and charm, however, over the years design experience for me to really need is "only", the original design is talent, talent, is a genius.
The design is not that kind of eight hours a day, the normal five years can be promoted, 10 years can do the work of section chief, but achievement and time is completely out of proportion to the profession.
The most intuitive manifestation is that many young designers are already famous, and many young designers have similar treatment to cleaners.
The main reason behind it?
When I'm making speeches, I meet a lot of students who say, "it's hard to put your skills in the real business market," but there's a big reason behind that.
The past few years, many young designers in the small circle is very famous, but in the whole industry point of view, their works with the social development of the relationship is not much, just to feel good about themselves.
If a designer does any design of the starting point, without contacting and affecting the society, then its value is difficult to say.
So if you really want to be in this business and create your own value, then you have to be able to influence society, and that's why it's serious and important.
Many of our designers went to a lot of competitions, and they did a great job, even more than in Europe and America, but when they entered the market, they began to lose themselves, completely without brilliance.
Because of inertia that customer is always god, so I think it should weigh the design and business relationship, and to keep individual character, this even led to some designers may have a little schizophrenic,.
One of the most important aspects of competition between any brand on the market is personalization.
Without this personality, the impression will become blurred.
But if you wish to creativity and professional consideration, then the computer is a blessing and a curse, as our assistant, also may be the biggest problem we have, because in the past, the ability of a designer can see clearly from his handiwork, but now the existence of computer software, often let a person produce "you've had a great misunderstanding."
Even if you don't have a design idea or even a design, you can mimic the copycat work that is the biggest problem in the design industry.
In my studio, we usually only allow our colleagues to use the computer when the final project is done, and everything before that needs to be painted on paper.
I think it's easier to train your system and find new ideas when you have to maintain this primal intuitive state.
"Modern decoration" dialogue PINKI pin creative artistic director li salli.
Q: as the artistic director of the company and a beautiful post-80s female designer, what do you think of your career advantages?
A: the advantage and the beauty are not too bold to say, but this particular age group after 80 has really influenced my career orientation and design characteristics.
The post-80s generation is an age layer that enjoys and receives modernization and is the most impacted by the market economy. Our ideas and ways of thinking are also produced in this era and environment.
I think it is a series of conditions determines the moment we have special rights: we don't like after 60, 70 designers predecessors have so deep the root of the culture, but we kept some root culture at the same time for their unique style of The Times, it was different from any other s design inspiration and work, so I think, after 80, it is our biggest advantage.
Q: you have been working in art and design since the end of 2006. How do you look at this industry?
A: I have A little story to share with you about the design.
During the wenchuan earthquake in 2008, I was filming a project with three colleagues in chengdu.
After the earthquake, all the hotels and restaurants in the area were closed, and four of us nervously carried our equipment on the streets of chengdu to discuss what we would do if we could get home alive.
The whole night was the cry of the baby and the old man, and the psychological activities were very violent and shocking.
I found out afterwards that I really love designing this job, and I love the field of art, and this experience makes me sigh that design work is really an adventure.
Q: what kind of life and work are you doing?
A: my current life is very busy and I seldom stay in my office.
After the "liu weijun career dream navigation creative course", my working status can be summarized as: course speech, discussion and planning with the client, and internal research and development.
But very busy at the same time I also have a lot of harvest, with the company's creative solutions in the process of lecture, often chat with students and the customer's process in a flash, this also let me directly the internal research and development to benefit, so I think this is a very interesting process of "thinking" in the movement.
Q: the course starts with "career dream navigation", and talks about your understanding of yourself and PINKI's dream.
A: dream is I and our product creativity has never given up his pursuit of things, my personal dreams can say that over the years has never changed: do A higher level of artistic career, lead the department of the company in A more perfect direction development, full of happiness.
Our company culture is: breathing, action, love, dream and creation.
How do you understand that?
Breathing is a human instinct, a physiological need, and it is the need to survive that motivates us to do creative work.
Piney is now doing cultural communication, hoping to tease out a healthy system in this industry, which is more of a mission and a responsibility.
So I can be described as "the dreamer of art and design".
Q: many young designers start out with dreams, but then many people can't stand it. What do you think of this phenomenon?
A: this phenomenon is quite common now, and there is A lot of discussion.
As I mentioned, you can stay in an industry for 30 or even 50 years, and it is important to do a job that is not boring and personal.
I'm sure many young designers are enthusiastic about the industry, and the question is how to stay that way and stick to it.
In my opinion, the personality of the designer is self - oriented, which is actually quite good.
But the industry does need us to precipitate and think, and talent also accounts for a large proportion.
Design, concept is very important, whether a design concept has vitality or absurdity, depends on the designer's analysis of customer characteristics.
Product's dream career navigation, a series of courses is to encourage designers to combine soft outfit and art, for customer service, rather than the bulk copy decorative elements and combination of the existing market, so hard to let the customer to accept, in fact is not necessarily suited to their characteristics of the project.
For the younger generation of designers, I would like to tell a story: the ancient sailors went fishing, they were confused, where there was fish in the endless sea?
It is only when the wind meets the waves, meets the reefs, and may not even hit a fish for a long time.
At this time the sailor insisted, and he slowly gained experience, knowing where there would be fish, where there would be reefs, and when there would be storms.
The same is true of our design work, and inspiration is like a reef, and when you don't want to meet it, it may appear, and you may find it in vain.
Therefore, the young designers who enter the line, please insist on it, and the persistent motivation is undoubtedly the interest and love for the job.
